It’s that time of year where the PTO board is already looking at planning for the next school year.  The PTO depends on the generosity of parents and teachers, as well as Norwalk community members and businesses; generosity of not only funds, but also time, talent, and commitments.  As the community grows so does our school system. To achieve our goal of supporting the elementary schools we are in the process of recruiting parents that would be interested in holding a position on our board.

As much as the officers of the PTO board love what we do, we need to teach others how to do these jobs.  It would be a disservice to keep some of these positions until our own children leave for middle school and then have no one trained to take our place. Without the PTO board, most of the events for the students and support we give the schools will not be feasible.

It is fundamental to our organization that we fill board positions with interested and dedicated parents who are committed to the well-being of our students, staff, and families.
